These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by The Organised Desk Co. By booking our services, you agree to the terms below.
Services
The Organised Desk Co provides professional home organising services, including decluttering and organising spaces within your home. Services are tailored to each client’s individual needs.
Consultation
An initial consultation may take place before work begins to discuss your goals, expectations and any specific requirements.
Bookings
Appointments are subject to availability and confirmed once agreed by both parties. Please ensure that areas to be organised are accessible at the agreed appointment time.
Payment
The cost of your service will be agreed before your appointment is confirmed.
Payment is due on the day of your appointment following the completion of the agreed service. Payment can be made by bank transfer, unless another payment method has been agreed in advance.
If payment is not received on the day of the appointment, The Organised Desk Co reserves the right to charge interest on overdue amounts in accordance with applicable UK legislation and may decline future bookings until any outstanding balance has been paid.
An invoice or payment request will be provided on the day of your appointment.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be charged 50% of the booked service fee. Clients who do not attend or are unavailable at the agreed appointment time without prior notice may be charged 100% of the booked service fee. We understand that emergencies can happen and reserve the right to waive cancellation fees at our discretion.
Client Responsibility
Clients remain responsible for all decisions regarding what to keep, donate, recycle or dispose of.
The Organised Desk Co will never remove or dispose of belongings without clients permission.
Donation & Disposal are the responsibility of the client to arrange.
Liability
While every care is taken when handling your belongings, The Organised Desk Co cannot accept responsibility for:
Existing damages to items
Normal wear & tear
Losses resulting from decisions made by the client
Circumstances outside our reasonable control
Nothing in these terms & Conditions limits or excludes liability where this would be lawful under UK law.
Photography
Before and after photographs will only be taken and used with your permission. No identifying personal information will be shared without your consent.
Privacy
Any personal information collected will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
